If you love tacos, you will love this place. It was our first time here soooo we tried most of the tacos. All the tacos were fantastic, I normally don't care for corn tortillas but theirs were homemade and amazing. They even had lamb... a bit too much flavor for me but they have it! I would highly recommend their chips and salsa. The queso was really good but the salsa was top tier. Annnndd you can NEVER go wrong with a churro. So good!

Do not walk, run to get these tacos. The restaurant is unassuming and after years of driving by I decided to try it. Best decision I’ve made all year. The fajita on white corn tortilla tacos are the best I’ve had in Oak Cliff. They’re better than Cesar’s Tacos, El Si Hay, and Paisanitas. The meat is a better cut and the corn tortillas are made in-house. I’ve also had the breakfast tacos. The flour tacos for breakfast are bigger than the flour lunch/dinner tacos so you don’t need as many. The chorizo and egg was amazing. The potato and egg could use some work. The enchiladas are covered in Mexican cream and the sauce is just the right amount of spicy. The churros were filled with cajeta and on the house from the chef/owner. The offering only solidified Taxqueno as my favorite restaurant in Oak Clif.

Hey great caldo the pollo. They use some nice herbs as aromatics to give it a fresh aroma and taste! Very clean broth with very fresh veggies.

If you are looking for funky fun authentic with a heavy dose of family love - this is your new fav morning start! Breakfast tacos made to order with a heavy side of smiles and joy. Latin music softly playing while you wait for your order is an another divine layer of perfect. Yes the family serves lunch as well. The plates are amazing. But my fav is the breakfast tacos. each taco comes with choice of red or green salsa. Red is spicier. Both delicious. I especially appreciate the add on of avocado if you wish. Zip up Zang Blvd and stop by- your tummy will be glad you did!

After moving to Oak Cliff from town, finally tried this place after driving by it for the past year. Delicious food, quality ingredients and nice homemade touches like their corn tortillas. Family run business and the owner came out to see if we liked the food. Prices were standard compared to other places I’ve been. Will definitely be back! Gracias!

Such a delicious lunch!! We were driving by and saw such an inviting taqueria! We went in and we’re pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the tacos and the sweet employees. Their breakfast and fish tacos are currently the most popular dishes but we ended up ordering other tacos. I personally really enjoyed the fajita asada tacos and the chips and queso! We also saw another family order the bread pudding and we had to order it! Super yummy, would highly recommend ordering it after you finish your tacos.
